Well, a few weeks after Christmas, and all is slowing down some………yeah, right! Natalie is doing well, other than just getting over the stomach bug that has been going around. We recently became concerned about her Medicaid status with the state budget crisis, and ask for your prayers that all will be taken care of. We know it will be in God’s hands. We hope all is going well, and look forward to seeing allot of you at the upcoming production at First Church of Christ, entitled "One Life to Live".

Natalie is still making some improvements since we have returned from Hyperbarics. We have a special 4 button switch that we have been working with Natalie on using to identify what she wants, such as a drink, or to eat. It also has a button for yes and no. On Thursday, when Natalie’s nurse was feeding her lunch, Natalie didn’t seem too interested in eating. So the nurse took the bowl over to the sink, and was getting ready to rinse it out, and heard "eat". She stopped, looked at Natalie, and asked her if she wanted more to eat. "Eat" was the answer that Natalie pushed. Natalie then pressed the "eat" button again, and when asked by her nurse if she wanted to eat some more, the "Yes" button was pushed! Of course, when we tried it, Natalie didn’t want to do it, but this isn’t the first time that she has done it, this time was just the most intentional that she has pushed the buttons.

WOW!!! The last few weeks have gone by so quickly with Tricia and Natalie back home. Natalie is amazing. The treatments have really helped with her muscle tone (her muscles being really tight), and she seems more alert to what is going on around her. Natalie also doesn’t cry non-stop all day……and she has been sleeping all night for most of the nights!!!! PRAISE GOD!
We have really been able to tell that the HBOT has helped because before the treatments, we couldn’t stretch her arms above her head without her screaming. Now, we can do that with no problem. She seems to follow us around the room more, pays more attention to us and her surroundings, and she is smiling more purposefully than ever before. I’m not talking little grins…..I mean full, ear to ear smiles! Have a great Christmas and May God bless each of you as richly as He has us.

Natalie has been in Georgia with Tricia for almost a month now doing Hyperbaric Treatments. Things have been going ok so far. Natalie has shown some progress with the treatments, the most noticeable things being her muscle tone being looser, and it seems like she has become more attentive to things going on around her.
Tricia is worn out from the rigorous schedule of treatments and therapies that have been going on, but both of them have been troopers through out this. I knew I married a strong, beautiful woman, but not until Natalie became sick did I realize just how beautiful and special Tricia is. Say a prayer right now for her…..please….That God will grant her strength and endurance to continue helping Natalie. Also, please pray for Natalie, that she will sleep at night, and be calm during the days.
