Natalie’s Trust Fund
We started a trust fund for Natalie shortly after her injury in order to help pay for her medical treatments, therapies, medicines, and other equipment and supplies that are not covered by our insurance.
I have been asked, at times, where does the money go? There are strict guidelines and documentation that we have to follow regarding the items that we can pay for out of the trust fund. The IRS and government are aware of this fund through an ID number, much like a social security number. A 1041 form must be filed each year documenting the income and expenses of the fund, just like your personal 1040. Rest assured that all donations that are made, either individually or through fundraisers, are deposited into this fund.
Donations can be sent directly to our credit union for deposit into her fund.
