Our Strength

We have been asked numerous times about our strength through all of this. We had a choice to make as soon as Natalie became sick:

We could become angry, bitter people and hide from the fact of Natalie’s illness and injury, hating life and each other. Or, we could face this head on with the love and support of our friends, family, and Christ.

These are just some of the verses that have given us strength.

Our light during our storm

“For David said about him, I saw the Lord before me at all times; he is near me, and I will not be troubled. And so I am filled with gladness, and my words are full of joy. And I, mortal though I am, will rest assured in hope, because you will not abandon me in the world of the dead; you will not allow your faithful servant to rot in the grave. You have shown me the paths that lead to life, and your presence will fill me with Joy.”

Acts 2:25-28

“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed.”

1 Peter 4:12-13

“For with God, nothing shall be impossible.”

Luke 1:37

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see.”

Hebrews 11:1

“I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.”

Psalms 16:8

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like Eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walkand not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:31
